Patient profile · Extended range of vision

Asqelio™ EDOF

For patients who want clear distance vision that flows naturally into the intermediate tasks of everyday life — a laptop, the dashboard, a kitchen worktop — without the visual jumps or light loss of other approaches.

What it does

A continuous range of focus

Asqelio™ EDOF starts with a biaspheric optical platform that neutralizes aberrations for the highest clarity and contrast. Its patented Phase-Ring™ Technology then tailors the wavefront to create a single, elongated focal range — extending focus seamlessly while preserving distance image quality.

The result is a smooth, continuous transition from distance to intermediate, stable across real-world lighting conditions — and the toric version additionally corrects corneal astigmatism for sharper, clearer sight.

A proven, glistening-free material and a non-diffractive design deliver excellent visual outcomes, with a dysphotopsia profile comparable to that of a standard monofocal IOL.1,2
